Using Word 2010, Word files can be saved as PDF files. More details here. Users of Word 2007 can download a Microsoft add-in to save as PDF. Saving as PDF should avoid font and other layout problems. Supplying Word files for us to print from will sometimes cause line & page differences and should be avoided.

If you still prefer to supply the Word file, fonts should be embedded unless they are standard ones. We accept files up to version 2010.

Embedding fonts in Word 2003:
1. Choose "Tools" then "Options".
2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Save" tab.
3. Check "Embed TrueType fonts".
4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box.

For items such as leaflets and business cards which need to be designed by us we will often copy or import the text into into another program in order to produce the artwork.
